
Here Are the Websites We’ve Launched in the Last Year!
August 1st marked one year of operating as Armada Digital, as well as my one-year anniversary since becoming a partner! For those who have experienced the Platform-SEO process, where we deliver a fully optimized website featuring your branding and custom copy in six weeks, then you’ll know it’s a sprint. This partially explains why I’ve included an intentional line item in the Project Deck that we review during the kick-off meeting that says, “Celebrate Launch!”
As a type-A person who looks for ways to make relaxing “productive,” I admittedly wanted to be sure our team (including myself) and clients are pausing to celebrate big milestones! For a business, the work truly begins once a website launches, but that doesn’t mean the effort and energy that went into it should be treated like another task to check off and move on.
So, let’s reminisce!
1. David Ladensohn
This particular project was a delight to work on for two reasons. First being that I knew very little about the subject matter, but was fascinated by it nonetheless! Here is a summary of David’s book, Fly-Fishing with Leonardo da Vinci: “Leonardo understood rivers like no one else before him. He also drew them like no one else ever had. His interesting life story and the beautiful drawings he produced combine with his unequaled power of observation to produce a figure that could have been the ideal fly-fishing guide. Ladensohn explains with Leonardo’s own illustrations how the artist’s many talents would have made any angler’s day both successful and entertaining. This book is a portrait of the sport, the people who live it, and the Renaissance Man who would have loved it.”
The second reason was that David himself exudes passion for learning, and life! I was lucky enough to get on his e-mail list as he was spending a semester at Oxford as a Next Horizons Scholar (retirement goals!), and found myself going down my own rabbit holes on a myriad of subjects after reading them (physics and the philosophy of time as well as several etymology lessons)! Needless to say, it was a pleasure to help David launch this website in promotion of his first book.
2. Dr. Alan Rozanski
The content of Dr. Rozanski’s platform was equally interesting and has direct application to my own health and life. In reality, his learnings from years as a cardiologist, which then led to research around the science of mind-body medicine, are something every person should know. His website is dedicated to sharing the “6 Domains of Health” and explores how integrating the core elements of lifestyle medicine and health psychology can help you achieve a life of optimal health and vitality.
In coordination with Zilker Media, our team has continued to work with Dr. Rozanski in an ongoing capacity as he generates a wealth of content across all 6 domains. It’s obvious from one conversation that Alan cares deeply about people and is doing everything in his power to help them thrive.
3. Sage Landscaping
The Platform-SEO program is a great fit for both authors, speakers, and thought leaders as well as owners of service-based businesses. In the case of Sage Landscaping, Flavia and Alicia needed an updated digital presence that showcased their range of commercial landscaping services as quickly as possible. After downloading the necessary information about their business, our team then got to work on building out the framework, applying their branding, selecting imagery, writing, and optimizing website copy. The end result is a website that is easy to navigate and simple to update.
4. Highland Lakes Signs
After working together on the Highland Lakes Outdoor website, John and Keith approached our team about running the Platform-SEO Program for their other business, Highland Lakes Signs. The needs from a branding and site map perspective were relatively similar; however, the SEO strategy required a fresh approach as this particular company specifically serves local businesses in need of exterior and/or interior signage for their physical space. Having gone through the process together once before, we were able to jump right in and take the site from a landing page to a fully optimized website in just about six weeks.
5. The Plumbing Bros
One quick scroll through The Plumbing Bros 300+ 5-star Google reviews tells you all you need to know about how Grant and his team do business. From our first call, it was clear that Grant was looking for a digital marketing partner that he could trust, and we’re grateful that he gave Armada the opportunity to deliver on our guarantees. The team continues to partner with Grant through our ongoing SEO, PPC, and Website Support services, and we expect The Plumbing Bros to continue to be among the best plumbers in Boerne, TX!
6. Integro Construction Services
We partnered with Integro Construction Services, a full-service roofing and construction company, to build an updated website that showcases their range of commercial and residential services. Our team helps business owners and homeowners actively searching for services like storm restoration and repair, roofing, and construction find Integro, who then provides honest, high-quality solutions.
7. Les Csorba
We partnered with the team at Zilker Media to help Les prepare for the launch of his second and highly anticipated book, Aware: The Power of Seeing Yourself Clearly. Through vivid storytelling, AWARE contains dozens of actionable lessons on how you can cultivate your strengths and work around your limitations as you become too aware to fail in leadership and life. As I write this, Les’ book launched and arrived at my door just a few days ago — it will never not be cool to receive a physical copy of the book that our team has built the website for!
8. Diane Radford
Our agency has provided hosting and website services for 8+ years. Diane’s previous site was dedicated to her practice as a breast surgical oncologist and was built circa 2012. As she moved into retirement and picked up a paintbrush, she reached out about pivoting her website to her new passion as a watercolor artist.
Diane is the first artist in our website portfolio, and it was a treat to learn about her process and build a website that showcases her beautiful work and can easily grow with her over time.
9. Texas Outdoor Lighting
We partnered with Texas Outdoor Lighting’s long-time SEO partner, Tasty Placement, to rebuild the existing TOL website to better feature their stunning work across the state — including The Alamo! We didn’t have a pre-existing framework that aligned with the initial vision the TOL team had for their new site, so we shifted our Platform-SEO process for this particular project by custom designing a few iterations. We feel the final product visually highlight’s TOL’s work while maintaining the content volume necessary to perform well in search.
10. Clint Padgett
Clint Padgett is the President and CEO of Project Success Incorporated (PSI). PSI itself exists to teach teams a proven, repeatable project strategy method to use long after they’re gone. As you may remember from above, I am type-A and love process-building, so I was excited to work with someone who is an expert in “people-oriented project management.”
Through his personal brand website, Clint shares his methodology, which centers around the concept of how having upfront conversations can break down silos, allow for cross-functional teaming, and ensure projects remain a priority for all involved. Our team created the platform that encompasses Clint’s thought leadership across his podcast, press articles, and two books.
11. TGS Advisory
One of the joys of working in agency environment is the opportunity to meet and collaborate with people in different stages of their careers. Whether they’re pivoting their existing company or starting something new, there is always a sense of excitement that’s infectious. Tara “Terry” Smzgala, Founder & Principal at TGS Advisory, had recently retired from his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Eaton, a global intelligent power management company.
By forming TGS Advisory, his goal was to take what he had learned and help the businesses that have the potential to be directly impacted by government affairs be more strategic rather than reactive. His functional needs on the website side were straightforward, and there was opportunity from an SEO perspective to position TGS Advisory as a new consulting solution for corporations and government affairs firms alike. Terry now has the digital foundation he needs to scale his business and make an impact.
