Sean Flamand joined the Armada Digital team in 2021 as Content and SEO Specialist, bringing a passion for language and all the ways it shapes the world. He has helped countless clients craft content that speaks to humans and the ever-changing cast of robots in the digital space. Sean graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Springfield with a degree in English (focused on Writing and Rhetoric) and a minor in Spanish. He then attended the University of Chicago in 2017-18, where he studied Linguistics as part of the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities (MAPH), completing a thesis that analyzed vowel harmony patterns in the highly endangered Washo language.
He has since fallen in love with Chicago, having lived here since 2017 after growing up among the Kaneville cornfields in northern Illinois. Outside of work, Sean loves dissecting and discussing movies, visiting new countries and National Parks, growing plants, trying not to injure his fingers playing 16-inch softball, writing poetry, and wandering around in prairies.
